Exhibtion from July 6th to September 21st<\/mark><\/strong> 2024<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The Arts of Australia Gallery<\/strong> \u2022<\/strong>St\u00e9phane Jacob invites the Oia Gallery <\/strong> , for a two-part conversation at 13 rue Chapon 75003 Paris<\/strong>. It is the encounter between Aboriginal art and Southeast Asian art, two cultures that put their narrative energy at the service of a poetic work of memory.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Further, higher, stronger, together!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

From their inception in ancient Greece to their modern incarnation, the Olympiad celebrates physical power, mental resilience, courage and determination.<\/p>\n\n

The Olympic Games bring people together, exalt athletes and praise their achievements, glorifying the strength, surpassing oneself and endurance of women and men.<\/p>\n\n

With Racines, the Galerie Arts d’Australie\u2022 St\u00e9phane Jacob and the Galerie Oia had initiated a conversation by questioning the links that unite the present to the past and invoke heritage and mythologies.<\/p>\n\n

During the summer and Olympic seasons, the two galleries deepen their exchanges, presenting with the exhibition STRONG a new selection of works from the two galleries.<\/p>\n\n

By putting into perspective the different nuances of the force – vital, physical, mental – the works celebrate through a range of techniques, the vitality of the territory and the need for artistic commitment.<\/p>\n\n

The exhibition highlights profiles that are part of the perpetuation of rites, that question their relationships to territory and time, that affirm their identity, whether singular or common.<\/p>\n\n
